Recording available: EthicsTalk LIVE: State of compliance in Nordic organisations 2023

November 22 · Hybrid from HELSINKI

 9.30 – 10.30 EET

Join us for inspiration, new insights and great networking with peers in the ethics and compliance field!

Welcome to a hybrid (breakfast & webinar) event on November 22nd at DLA Piper office located in the iconic “Sugar Cube” at Kanavaranta 1. Together with our expert panelists, we will review the state of compliance in Nordic organisations and reflect upon the key findings of our ”Nordic Ethics & Compliance Survey 2023” results. As our survey reveals, the ethics and compliance teams are small, and the budget is limited.

Can we be effective and achieve change with the resources available to us? How do we ensure that the work we do has an actual impact? How do we take paper programs into a reality for all employees in our organisations?

Our panel discussion with seasoned experts within the compliance field, focus on the following themes:

  • Do Nordic E&C Heads have unlimited access to the Board of Directors or Board committee?
  • Are we seeing an increasing amount of Whistleblowing reports in Nordics?
  • What are the best ways to measure the effectiveness of E&C work?
  • Should the in-person E&C training cover 100% of the workforce or do we keep relying on elearnings?
  • Are Nordic organisations lagging behind in the embedding E&C in their incentive and bonus systems?

The panel discussions are moderated by the co-founder of NBE, Niina Ratsula.

In our ”Nordic Ethics & Compliance Survey 2023”, we collected benchmarking data and provide insights into how compliance work is structured in Nordic companies. By these insights we aim to support the ethics and compliance officers in developing their organisation and program. Please register below to join us for breakfast in Helsinki from 8:30 or register only for the webinar from 9:30.
