Ethics Talk Live: What is the real purpose of ethics & compliance
OCTOBER 12 · Virtual from HELSINKI
15-16 EEST
This time the EthicsTalk LIVE will drill into to the real purpose of ethics and compliance. Some may argue, that the real purpose is to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, to protect the reputation of the company and to demonstrate commitment to frameworks such as the UN Global Compact. We like to simplify the purpose to having an impact on behaviors at all levels in the organisation. After all, the key guiding document is called the Code of Conduct. The behaviors and decisions made today may have a significant impact on the company, and more importantly on the environment, societies and humans, which the regulation is put in place to protect. Is this vision shared with the Board and Executive Management of your company? Are you seen as a change agent and a facilitator of good behaviors or a policy police?
Join us on October 12 at 3 PM EEST for the EthicsTalk Live to get insights for the above topics!
We will host a live streamed EthicsTalk show together with our collaboration partners DLA Piper and MySpeaker.
This time our awesome quests include Michaela Ahlberg (E&C specialist), Amanda Raad (Co-chair of Ropes & Gray’s award-winning global anti-corruption and international risk practice) and Markus Oksanen (Partner, DLA Piper).
