Together with our expert panelists, we will present and reflect upon the key findings of our NBE Ethics&Compliance 2025 survey results.

The panel discussions are moderated by the co-founder of NBE, Niina Ratsula.

In our Nordic Ethics & Compliance Survey we collect benchmarking data and provide insights into how compliance work is structured in Nordic companies. By these insights we aim to support the ethics and compliance officers in developing their organisation and program.

Camilla c. collet, Partner at gorrissen federspiel

Camilla assists Danish and international companies with M&A transactions, commercial contracts, reorganisations and other transactions, often of an international nature and where the understanding of commercial principles is paramount. Camilla has particular expertise in the life sciences segment where she has assisted with numerous acquisitions, sales and investments in life sciences companies. She advises pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies and manufacturers of medical devices on a current basis. Camilla also has experience with transactions within, among other things, industry, real property, insurance and the entertainment industry. As head of our Compliance & Sustainability cross-practice group, Camilla advises on anti-corruption, export control, sanctions and business ethics, among other things. Finally, Camilla has experience with board duties and regularly lectures on M&A, Contracts and Compliance.

Alexandra belmonte, Chief compliance officer at A.P. Moller – Maersk

Alexandra is the Chief Compliance Officer at A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. She is responsible for anti-corruption, sanctions and export controls and Maersk’s global compliance programme.

Maersk is an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customers’ supply chains. As the global leader in shipping services, Maersk operates in 130 countries and employs more than 100,000 people. Maersk is the second largest container vessel operator, it is the top three port/terminal operator and provides a wide range of logistics services to its customers, e.g. airfreight, warehousing, trucking and cold storage, etc.

Maersk’s importance to global trade and services give Alexandra a unique opportunity to understand the echo system of global trade and supply chains. These insights help Maersk implement processes and controls to facilitate sustainable trade by enable Responsible Business Conduct where Maersk’s compliance programme plays a pivotal role in Maersk’s and its customers’ value chain.

Zahra Kitson Frimor, Director, Chief Compliance Officer, Topsøe A/S

Zahra is Director, Chief Compliance Officer at Topsoe A/S, a leading global provider of advanced technology and solutions for the energy transition. She is responsible for Topsoe’s global compliance programs within anti-corruption, sanctions, and export controls, Topsoe’s Code of Conduct including assurance reporting, and the company’s concern reporting mechanism including internal whistleblower investigations. Zahra has worked in trade controls and business ethics compliance in Nordic companies for over 20 years, in industries spanning from test instrumentation to fuel transport to offshore drilling to chemicals, and she was a founding member of the Confederation of Danish Industries’ Export Controls network.

Topsoe offers world-leading solutions for transforming renewable resources into fuels and chemicals, and provides technologies needed to produce low-carbon and conventional fuels and chemicals, and to ensure clean air.

Aleksej Daineko, VP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at lundbeck

Aleksej is Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer (CECO) at Lundbeck, a global pharmaceutical company specialized in brain diseases. In his current role Aleksej is leading Lundbeck’s Global Compliance, which is comprised of ethics & compliance program, whistleblower hotline investigations and business ethics audit functions, as well as functional reporting from the regional Compliance organizations globally. Prior to the role at Lundbeck, Aleksej has been Chief Compliance Officer at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (Sobi), and earlier in a variety of global and regional compliance, finance and internal audit roles at life science and FMCG companies in Denmark, including LEO Pharma, Carlsberg, Novo Nordisk, and Coloplast.

Aleksej’s focus on elevating business integrity is both internal through strengthening governance, business partnering, and risk-based advisory and frameworks, as well as across industry being part of ethics and business integrity committee and CECO roundtable at International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA).

Niina Ratsula, Co-Founder of NBE

Niina is a co-founder of Nordic Business Ethics Initiative and at this time the driving force behind Nordic Business Ethics Survey.

Niina has supported numerous global and local organizations with governance and compliance related matters as a leader and through her own company.

Niina has received several acknowledgements for her work as a key note speaker and business ethics influencer. She is also an author of several business ethics and governance related books. Key conclusion of her PhD was that organizational culture plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of compliance programs.

Niina believes that we should have more uncomfortable conversations at work to enable more responsible work life.
