NBE Survey launch 2022

November 21 · Hybrid from Stockholm

 9 -10.30 CET

Are you in need for insipration,  new insights and some great networking?

The Nordic Business Ethics (NBE) initiative and The Swedish Anti-Corruption Institute are excited about inviting you to the launch of the NBE survey 2022 on November 21st in Stockholm. You can also join the lauch event via livestream.

Since the launch of our NBE employee perception survey in 2020 we have seen how organisations, board members, senior leaders and politicians have been questioned for decisions made in the grey zone. What is legal is not always the right thing to do. The expectations are evolving and ethical decision making is a muscle that needs constant training.

Join us for an engaging discussion about Ethics at our Nordic workplaces. Together we will explore whether we have become better in raising concerns, what type of misconduct is most common at our workplaces and what we can and should do to ensure all employees take responsibility for building  stronger and more ethical organisations. We have also done a tailored survey in Greenland and Estonia, and will have a brief look at these results as well.

Anna and Niina will facilitate the discussion, in which all of you will participate. Join us to get inspired, get new insights and have some fun. This year we have invited experts in their own fields to discuss key topics of the survey:

  • Ethical compromises – IMM’s Hayaat Ibrahim
  • Observations of unethical behaviours – FRA’s Viktor Josefsson
  • Retaliation – DLA Piper’s Riikka Autio

The discussion will start at 9am CET and continue until 10:30. If you have time you are welcome to stay for networking and connecting with others who are passionate about building more ethical and resilient organisations. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 onwards at Stockholms Handelskammare, Regeringsgatan 29.

The Institute’s mission is to promote ethical decision processes within business as well as within the rest of the community and to prevent the use of bribes and other types of corruption as a means for affecting decision processes.

The Institute puts great emphasis on information to businesses and trade confederations, media and authorities on ethical business behaviour including laws and court cases on corruptive marketing and bribery.

The Institute has since its inception worked for self regulation as a means to combat corruption in society. In this manner, private business has been a driving force in the struggle against bribery and corruption and in convincing the government about the importance of forceful legislation on this topic.
